These are my choices Cadillac CTS, SRX, Scion TC (new), Saturn Vue. I want a good car under $20,000 what is the best car for the money new or used. What is the best finance company to go though for first time buyer with no credit. Is it better to buy used or new for first time buyers.

Let the other guy take the hit, buy a well maintained Cadillac, Scion, Saturn or anything else for that matter. Ther are MILLIONS of used cars out there that will take you anywhere you want to go without anymore trouble than a new one will. New car warranties are a myth -- keep two thousand dollars in a savings account for MAJOR breakdowns and you will still save thousands and thousands over the cost of a new vehicle.

I think that you should go for a %26quot;newly-used%26quot; car (i.e. less than 10,000 miles). If you buy through the dealer, they can set you up with financing there. I personally prefer Saturns, as they get good mileage, the customer service is good, and I haven%26#039;t had problems with mine (160,000 miles and counting...)

I would go with the Scion. Great car, bang for your buck, and it gets great gas mileage, too. The Cadillac are gas guzzlers and with the gas prices going up, YIKES! Scion is your best bet.

Save your money for a LONG while and buy a cheap Honda or Toyota to carry you until you have enough to buy that new car with cash.
